Does anyone else just LOVE hexies?

2016-01-04

These are my newest obsession. I have to say, I avoided EPP (English paper piecing) for so long, and there was really no reason (except fear of the unknown?). I just love making them now. I can use up scraps (I have a few of those), the projects are super-portable, and they come together quickly.

Here’s one of the clutches I made with my hand-pieced hexies:

You can find more of my hexie projects in the Shop Bags section, and soon, there will be some in the Gallery, as well.

More crochet rolls are in the works!

2016-01-09

Working on some new crochet rolls that will soon be available for sale at Must Love Yarn, a lovely new yarn store in Shelburne, VT. These rolls are a little different than the others we stock in that the pockets are wider to accomodate circular needles.

Here’s a crochet roll that’s already available in our shop:

Custom quilted knitting roll measures approx. 14.5″ square, features 14 pockets (7 for short needles and 7 for long needles), has a soft cotton needle guard at the top, and closes easily with a ribbon tie.

They are made with soft pre-washed cotton fabrics, cotton batting, thread and grosgrain ribbon.
